I've made a few publications
These range from book covers to what you would see featured in a magazine or pamphlet.
â—‹ I used Procreate to apply the images together and at the time I was still figuring out how to use indesign. All markings are traditionally made with pencil, posca pens, water colour and paints.
Creating awareness through advertisements (2021)
Diary of a young Naturalist Book Cover for Penguin Books (2021)
â—‹ This was a project that took place in 2021 to expand my knowledge on how to design a book cover. I enjoyed the process of learning what that book is about and visually representing it on a book cover.
â—‹ I made this project in college to show my distaste for areas of the agricultural industry. I made a series of images and posters to spread the word on farms using unethical methods of cattle farming.
â—‹ I wanted to express easy to understand imagery and semi intense visuals to draw people in and show them how we are all apart of being meat and where we buy it. I displayed the context behind beef production and why we should be thinking more of where our food comes from.
â—‹ At the time of illustrating this, about 91% of rainforest land was deforested to make room for more farms and crop harvesting. Boosting CO2 emissions and taking away natural habitats from millions of species.
â—‹ I created posters to get statistics and information to people fast, the first poster displaying the statistic of around 800,000 cows per day are slaughtered and shipped around the world.
Who are we? (2021)
â—‹ This was a fun project and the group was very motivated to experiment with outcomes and colourful imagery that embodies our interest.
â—‹ A collaborative project in my first year of university. In my group, we all had nintendo in common from our childhoods to current times. So we thought of an idea to represent our zine in the form of a nintendo DS console.
Selling our own invention (2021)
â—‹ My group of 3 created this idea for an invention for something new. We made a futuristic invention and presented it to the class in a mission to sell it to them.
â—‹ Here's a demonstration of the invention in action with me as the demonstrator. The invention if created, would be a digital tool kit where you can store it away with ease and roll it out to pull tools out of the screen. It even comes with a finger scanner to lock your goods away!
Baking Ideas Informative Publication (2024)
â—‹ Me a lv6 and four lv5 students created a publication for the Baking Ideas location. This is to promote their facilities for cooking, social, clubs and meeting spaces for people that don't have a cooking space or need social connections with other people from all walks of life.
â—‹ On site drawings and observations were made to make sure we capture the essence of their facilities with locals using them and conversing with the great staffs hospitality.
